01 — BEFORE BUILDING

Product definition & design approval

Our in-house mechanical and hardware engineers work directly with you to confirm the product’s appearance, dimensions, materials, controls, and core functions. You approve the design before detailed engineering begins.

Mechanical design & hardware development

We develop the mechanical structure and electronics together—from enclosure details and mounting points to component selection, schematics, and PCB layout. Every part is designed to fit and work as one system.

Component sourcing

We source the components, modules, and off-the-shelf parts your design needs through our supplier network. Access to China’s extensive supply chain allows us to compare a wide range of options and select the parts that best fit your product’s requirements and budget.

Prototyping & refinement

Our in-house factory makes the enclosure and mechanical parts specifically for your prototype. Our team machines, hand-finishes, and fits each part, using the chosen materials and surface treatments to achieve the intended shape, color, texture, and feel.

Assembling and testing

We assemble the enclosure, mechanical parts, and electronics into a complete prototype, then check mechanical fit, power, controls, connectivity and hardware functionality.

Each project is quoted individually based on product complexity, features, materials, finishes, component selection, and prototype quantities. We’ll confirm the scope, deliverables, included design revisions, and final price after reviewing your idea and before work begins.

Typical builds take 45–60 days after design approval. Timelines are estimates and may change due to component availability, fabrication and finishing, testing, design changes, or approval delays. Complex projects may take longer. We’ll confirm an estimated schedule for your project and communicate any changes as the build progresses.

Founder includes introductions to selected manufacturing partners in China, support with production and tooling quotes, and coordination of the production handoff. These partners can manage production from the product itself to packaging and accessories. Tooling, production, and third-party manufacturing services are scoped and quoted separately.
